Why do movie characters drink milk, and what does God’s favor upon Jesus mean?

In today’s Gospel, Jesus offers them a way to get the best credit/honor score possible.

Not only do we have a ‘social responsibility’ to pay forgiveness forward, but we have a social responsibility use our money in a way that reflects the values of the Kingdom instead of our fallen world. We’ve been entrusted with power in order to bring God’s loving stewardship into the world, this includes the care for the ‘least of these.’ 

Forgiveness is a scandalous thing!

Christ’s rising from the dead will be when the mountain begins to move.

The question for us: will we be like the disciples and waver in our faith, or will we be loyal to the commission given to us by our Lord and walk the Way?
